The Biggest Upset Eva!

Until last night there were only a few people outside of the NY/NJ/PA tri-state area that knew where Lehigh University is...today the entire country knows after the triumphant win (but not too showy) of the Mountain Hawks (previously Engineers) over the Duke Blue Devils.

Certainly there are people who have attended Lehigh from all over the US and from around the world and despite it's annual top 50 university status and division 1 sports status really it's still only well known for wrestling (the only sport the university can grant athletic scholarships to), pumping out engineers and being the home of Bethlehem Steel.

Thanks to last night's victory, which let's be honest, all the Lehigh fans watched with a bit of bated breath, Lehigh's basketball team has had a bit of attention drawn to it and the victory over Duke is being called the biggest upset in NCAA history.  Imagine that!

Never prouder to shout Lehigh and it brings me back, really way back to a time and a place where everything was possible.
